An evacuation of campers has been ordered in northern Arizona following the Pius Fire that broke out Monday afternoon.

A fire is burning in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, about 25 miles northeast of Payson.

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office says an evacuation has been ordered for campers in the Bear Canyon Lake area.

ABC15 is trying to get more information on the size of the fire, how it was contained and evacuations.
