A police car was involved in an accident with another car at the intersection of Tampines North Drive 1 and 2, with one of the people involved being taken to hospital

Update: Police say the 20-year-old officer who was driving the patrol car is helping with the investigation.

SINGAPORE — One person was taken to Changi General Hospital after a police car crashed into a car in Tampines. Photos posted on the Facebook group Singapore roads accident.com on Friday (April 12) showed a road collision between a police car and a black car.

Photos show the police car’s hood was damaged. Two officers in yellow jackets could also be seen at the scene.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and police confirmed Yahoo Southeast Asia that on Friday (12 April) at 10:35am a report of a road accident was received at the intersection of Tampines North Drive 1 and Tampines North Drive 2.

According to Singapore Police, the 48-year-old female passenger was conscious and taken to hospital.

The 20-year-old policeman who drove the patrol car is helping with the investigation.
