Three fires were reported in Roanoke overnight

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – On the night of July 8-9, Roanoke Fire & EMS responded to three separate fires.

Two car fires were reported, as well as a shed fire. The first car fire occurred on Jennings Ave SE in Roanoke.


Three fires were reported in Roanoke overnight

A second car fire occurred on Dona Ave NW and was confirmed by the Roanoke Fire Department as a case of arson.

Deputy Chief Foley confirmed the third fire was a shed fire on Church Road in Roanoke.
No injuries have been reported at this time.

Investigations are ongoing. It is unknown if the incidents are related.
