WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Traffic is back to normal after westbound traffic on West Kellogg Avenue was diverted to South Dugan Road due to a crash Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Wichita Fire Department, firefighters responded at 3:15 p.m. to a report of a crash in which one person was possibly trapped inside a burning vehicle on West Kellogg Avenue at South Tyler Road.

Upon arrival at the scene of the accident, Truck No. 4, which was already in the vicinity of the accident, found several cars involved in the collision, including a box truck that was lying on its side and on fire.

“Quickly assessing the situation, crews found all occupants outside the vehicles with only minor injuries,” WFD said. “The truck did not contain any hazardous materials and the fire was quickly extinguished.”
