HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A double homicide trial is underway in Huntingdon County.

Morico Johnson, 50, of Newport News, Virginia, is accused of killing Christine McWorter and Beatrice Daniels 15 years ago.


Johnson was not charged with the murder until May 2022, when DNA testing led police to Johnson.

The two women were found dead at the Chestnut Terrace Apartments on Federal Drive in Mount Union in 2009. Police said they were both found lying in a bed with gunshot wounds, but there were no signs of a struggle.
