SJPD patrol officers responded around 4:49 a.m. to the 5900 block of Liska Lane for multiple reports of a discharged firearm and a vehicle collision.

At the scene, police found a vehicle that had crashed into a garage of a residence and caught fire. A man was driving the vehicle that had crashed. Police and firefighters extinguished the fire and got the man out of the vehicle.
