Roanoke Fire Department responds to early morning car fire on 1st Street

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Roanoke Fire & EMS said they responded early in the morning on July 10 to a call for a two-vehicle fire on 1st Street.

Roanoke Fire Department officials say around 3:32 a.m. Wednesday, a 911 dispatcher received a call about a car fire at the intersection of 1st and Campbell Ave. Crews arrived on scene to find two vehicles engulfed in flames.


No injuries have been reported at this time.

The investigation is still ongoing. Firefighters are currently working to determine the cause of the fire.
